Springday Healthcare is actively recruiting experienced Band 6 Critical Care Nurses for agency placements within NHS hospitals across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Weβre looking for highly skilled nurses specialising in Accident & Emergency (A&E), Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), and Renal Care.
Youβll be supporting dynamic and fast-paced clinical environments, delivering expert care to patients with complex, life-threatening conditions.

Educatiuon Requirement
π Education Requirements
Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
Completion of post-registration training relevant to critical care (e.g., ALS, ILS, or specific critical care courses)
Experience Requirement
π₯ Experience Requirements
Minimum 18 months to 2 years UK-based nursing experience in one or more of the following settings:
A&E (Emergency Department)
ITU / ICU (Intensive Care)
CCU (Cardiac High Dependency)
Renal (Acute Dialysis or Chronic Renal Ward)
Recent NHS hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
π Key Responsibilities
Provide high-acuity clinical care to critically ill patients
Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition using advanced clinical judgement
Administer complex treatments, infusions, and medications safely
Operate specialist equipment including ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe, person-centred care
Maintain comprehensive patient records and adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and clinical governance standards
