Overview
We are looking for caring, committed, and professional Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to work in mental health services across Bristol and Swindon. Whether you have experience in acute wards, community mental health, crisis teams, forensic settings, or rehabilitation, we have roles that match your expertise.
Your role will involve supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them with their recovery, and working alongside friendly, multidisciplinary teams in welcoming environments.
📍Location: Various Locations Across Somerset, Bristol and Swindon
💷 Pay Rate: £23 – £32 per hour (depending on experience and shift pattern)
🕒 Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary
🌙 Shift Pattern: Days / Nights / Rotational
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with NMC guidelines and best practices.
- Administer medication, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and health & safety regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Valid NMC Registration: Must hold a current NMC PIN.
- Experience in Mental Health: Minimum of 6 months’ UK nursing experience at Band 5 level in mental health settings.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong skills in mental health nursing, including patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.
- Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
