Agency Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Flexible Shifts & Competitive Pay in Bronllys, Powys.
Hourly Rate: £24 – £32 per hour (depending on experience and shift pattern)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary
Shift Pattern: Days / Nights / Rotational
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with NMC guidelines and best practices.
- Administer medication, monitor patient conditions, and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and health & safety regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Valid NMC Registration: Must hold a current NMC PIN.
- Experience in Mental Health: Minimum of 12 months’ UK nursing experience at Band 5 level in mental health settings.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong skills in mental health nursing, including patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.
- Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
